A supportive rear captivator that hugs the heel bulbs to stabilise the boot and to maintain a secure, comfortable fit without restricting natural movement.
Sold individually. Note that a Rear Captivator Cushion is not included and needs to be purchased separately.
The Pioneer Sports Rear Captivator is engineered to follow the natural contours of the pastern area while providing the support needed to keep the boot in place through all paces. Its shape works with the boot’s self-adjusting system, allowing the hoof to move, expand and load correctly while maintaining stability.
As part of the unique fitting system, the rear captivator height and position can be adjusted to suit the horse’s individual conformation, to achieve a close fit and ensure the boots stay in place.
The captivator’s structure, together with the rear captivator cushion (sold separately) distributes pressure evenly, reducing rubs and enhancing comfort for long rides, schooling sessions and varied terrain. The rear captivator must not be used without the rear captivator cushion.

14-day returns for change of mind. Return shipping is paid by the customer.

If you’re located in the UK, and your boots don’t fit (when sized by us or an authorised fitter), you can exchange them for the correct size free of charge. Boots must be clean and used for fitting only. Return and replacement shipping is paid by us.
