These terms and conditions apply to all purchases made through the Pioneer Hoof Protection website. By using our website and placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before purchasing.

2. Eligibility to purchase
To place an order on our website, you must be at least 18 years old, which is the legal age to enter into a contract under UK law. By placing an order, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
3. Products
We sell hoof boots and related parts and accessories. All product descriptions, images, and specifications are provided for guidance only. While we make every effort to display products accurately, minor variations may occur.
4. Availability and stock
All orders are subject to availability. If an item becomes out of stock after you have placed an order, we will contact you as soon as possible to inform you of the expected lead time. You may then choose to either wait for the item to be restocked or cancel the affected part of your order for a full refund.
5. Pre-orders
5.1 What is a pre-order
A pre-order allows you to purchase Pioneer Sports Hoof Boots before they are available for immediate dispatch. Pre-orders are available while pre-order stock remains available on the website.
5.2 Payment for pre-orders
Full payment is required at the time of placing a pre-order. This includes the full product price and applicable shipping costs. Prices shown at checkout are final and will not change after the pre-order is placed.
5.3 Estimated dispatch and delivery
Pre-order boots dispatch date will be confirmed in April 2026. Dispatch dates may change due to manufacturing, supply chain, or logistical factors. Those registered for pre-purchase will be notified when pre-orders are available, and after placing a pre-order, they will receive an email confirmation once the pre-order has been dispatched. If the order contains both pre-order items and items already in stock, these may be shipped in multiple parcels.
5.4 Cancelling a pre-order before dispatch
You may cancel your pre-order at any time before it has been dispatched.
To cancel, you must email connect@pioneerhoofprotection.com, quoting your order number.
If you cancel before dispatch:
- You will receive a full refund, including shipping costs
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
- Refunds will be processed in line with our standard refund timelines
5.5 Cancelling or returning a pre-order after dispatch
Once your pre-order has been dispatched, standard returns terms apply.
If you choose to cancel after dispatch:
- You must return the boots to us at your own cost
- The boots must meet our standard return conditions
Refunds are processed once the returned boots have been received and inspected. For international orders, customs duties, import taxes, and local charges are non-refundable.
5.6 First fit guarantee for pre-orders
Our First Fit Guarantee applies fully to pre-order boots. If the boots do not fit, you may exchange them for the correct size, subject to availability. All First Fit Guarantee conditions apply as set out elsewhere in these terms.
5.7 Size availability during pre-order phase
If you purchased a size that fits incorrectly and the correct size is not yet available, you may choose one of the following options:
Refund option
Return the boots to us.
Receive a full refund once the boots are received and inspected.
Wait option
Return the boots to us.
Wait until the correct size becomes available.
We will ship the replacement boots to you once available.
We will cover the shipping cost of the replacement boots.
5.8 Address changes for pre-orders
You may update your delivery address while your order is still in pre-order status. To do so, email connect@pioneerhoofprotection.com, quoting your order number and clearly stating:
- The original delivery address
- The updated delivery address
We cannot make address changes once an order has been dispatched.
5.9 Pre-order fulfilment order
Pre-orders are fulfilled in the order they are received.
6. Prices and VAT
All prices shown on our website include UK VAT where applicable.
For customers outside the UK:
UK VAT will not be charged. Your checkout total will be exclusive of UK VAT.
You are responsible for any local sales taxes, import duties, customs charges, or handling fees required by your country. These charges are set by the destination country and the courier, not by us, and we have no control over them.
If you return an item from outside the UK, we are unable to refund any customs duties, import taxes, or local sales taxes you have paid. To recover these costs, you must contact your local tax or customs authority directly.
7. Shipping and delivery
7.1 Shipping costs
Shipping costs are calculated based on order weight and destination country. The exact shipping cost will be shown at checkout before you confirm your order.
7.2 UK delivery
Orders placed before 12 noon Monday to Friday are processed the same working day. Orders are shipped using Royal Mail 24 Tracked service. Typical delivery time is 1 to 2 working days, but may vary for certain addresses.
7.3 International delivery
We offer worldwide delivery. Orders placed before 12 noon Monday to Friday are processed the same working day. Orders are shipped using a reputable courier service, and all shipments are tracked.
Typical international delivery times are approximately:
- EU and Europe: around 4 working days
- Rest of the world: around 7 working days
These delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
7.4 Delays
We process and ship orders within one working day of receipt. We are not responsible for delays caused by courier companies, customs processes, weather conditions, or events outside our control.
All orders are shipped tracked.
8. Order acceptance and pricing errors
All orders are subject to acceptance by us. If we discover an error in pricing or product information after you have placed an order, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund, or to contact you and offer the option to proceed at the correct price.
9. Your right to cancel (UK consumer rights)
Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, for any reason. To cancel, you must notify us in writing by email within this 14-day period. You then have a further 14 days to return the goods to us.
10. Returns conditions
Returned products must:
- Be returned with all original packaging and items supplied.
- Be completely clean and dry.
- Show no signs of wear.
You are allowed to try the boots on for fitting purposes. They do not need to be completely unused, but they must clearly show that they have only been used for a single fitting session.
If items are returned dirty or showing wear, we reserve the right to refuse the return or apply a cleaning and handling fee. If unsure, please email us first with photos of the boots to confirm.
11. Sizing guarantee
We offer a sizing guarantee (called First Fit Guarantee) under the following conditions:
- The sizing must have been carried out by us via our customer service either on emails or WhatsApp.
- If the boots sized by us do not fit, we will agree to exchange them for the correct size.
11.1 Condition of returned boots
Boots must:
- Be returned clean and dry.
- Have no dirt or debris on them.
- Clearly show use for fitting purposes only.
- Include all original packaging and items.
If boots are returned dirty or showing excessive wear, a £40 cleaning and handling fee per boot will apply. This fee will either:
- Be deducted from any refund due, or
- Be payable before replacement boots are sent out.
If you are unsure whether a fee may apply, we strongly recommend emailing us photos of the boots before returning them so we can advise you.
11.2 Return shipping for size exchanges
We will cover the cost of returning the boots to us for a size exchange under the First Fit Guarantee only. Under this scheme, we will also cover the cost of shipping the replacement boots to you. For all other exchanges, the return shipping costs and cost of sending replacement boots out are payable by the customer.
12. Change of mind returns
If you change your mind and return an item within the 14-day cancellation period:
- You are responsible for return shipping costs.
- The item must meet our return conditions.
Refunds will be issued once the returned item has been received and inspected.
If boots are returned dirty or showing excessive wear, a £40 cleaning and handling fee per boot will apply to boots that can be restored to retail condition. If the boots cannot be restored to “as new” condition, we reserve the right to withhold a larger amount, up to the full retail value of the items. If this is the case and you want the boots returned to you instead, you will be liable for the shipping costs involved in returning the boots to you.
We will contact you by email to inform you of any deductions and fees. If we do not hear back from you, we will keep the items in storage for 60 days, after which we deem them unclaimed items, and they will be disposed of.
13. Faulty goods
Your rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by these terms. If a product is faulty:
- We will cover the cost of return shipping. Please contact us by email on connect@pioneerhoofprotection.com to arrange this.
- We may offer a repair, replacement, or refund.
If a refund is issued, it will include the original standard delivery cost. Refunds are only issued once the item has been returned and inspected, unless otherwise agreed.
14. Refunds
Refunds are issued to the original payment method only. Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.
We do not refund customs duties, import taxes, or local sales taxes for international orders.
15. Gift vouchers and discount codes
Gift vouchers and discount codes are non-transferable and non-refundable. They have no cash alternative. They are valid only until their stated expiry date. Only one discount code may be used per order unless stated otherwise.
16. Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, images, videos, logos, branding, and design, is owned by or licensed to TBroadbridge Ltd.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written permission.
17. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so. To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Our liability is limited to the value of the order you placed.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
- We are not responsible for losses caused by misuse, incorrect fitting, or failure to follow product instructions.
18. Data protection
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available on our website. At checkout:
- Marketing consent is optional and unticked by default.
- If you opt in, you agree to receive marketing emails. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- If you do not opt in, you will receive order-related emails only.
19. Cookies
Our website uses cookies. Full details are provided in our Cookie Policy, which is available on our website.
20. Disputes and governing law
If a dispute arises, we will attempt to resolve it through mediation in good faith. If mediation is unsuccessful, the dispute will be governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.
21. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on our website at the time you place your order will apply to that order.
